  About the Artist
         Having Spanish and English heritages infuses Joanne's art with rich, cultural flavor. Born in Venezuela to parents of Hispanic and Caribbean decent, Joanne spent her childhood growing up in South America and Europe before immigrating to the United States in 1980.   With a formal education in Fine Art and through many years of dedication to Graphic Design, Joanne's combines bold layouts and colors that express passionate feelings about her subjects. She now has found new sources of joy in the nature and landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
